DLO this guy is angry, he speaks in blood!
January 20th, 2009

While the last 8 years have proven to be very shitty, what is to say the next 4 at least won’t be just as shitty? For the last 2 we have had a “new” congress that bowed when asked and fetched when told. The gap between rich and poor grows larger by the day with each new bailout. The party of fiscal conservancy was in power during the last 8 years. I realize this is not true at all. That the Bush White House has spent more on two mismanaged (and one needless) wars than any democratic government could ever aspire to is a simple fact. Another simple fact is that the presidential campaign featured two groups of millionaires calling each other elitist. Why doesn’t anybody else find this appalling? Why do large banks get billions of free dollars that only solidify balance sheets, and do nothing to solidify economies? Change we can believe in? I will certainly have to see it.
However I must say that a superficial (albeit no less significant change) has taken place already. It is present in the fact that people of my generation, of the generation of the internet, of the generation of nintendo have finally stood up and said that Religion, Race, and Relationships do not matter. Its about time we the people of the nintendo generation raised our collective voice and determined the national political conversation. Your election to the highest office is proof of this.
So here is to you Mr. President. May you and your family be safe. We will certainly pull for you. Please do not squander our goodwill. Please alter the course of our nation. Please end the exploitation and class warfare our government has come to represent. Please do not allow it to come to revolution. Please use the system to change itself. Internal change is always the easiest and less bloody. I am extremely proud of my generation in moving beyond the superficiality which has stained our history for too long, but I fear that my generation is far too complacent to effect real political change should the course of events require it.
Tomorrow is an important day. You stand up and become our voice. Please don’t forget what our true message is.
Congratulations and Long Live Freedom.
Why do they trot this zombie out?
THEN follow him with the jonas brothers? i have never seen something so shitty.
I hate Seacrest.
